Coach Dietz won over 1200 games in his 31 years of coaching and was known for tremendous statistics in the win/loss column, in his athlete's excellent academics, and for creating numerous opportunities for his players. He was the college coach to many future big league hitting sensations, including Tony Gwynn, Mark Grace and Travis Lee. In this excellent video, Dietz shares his wisdom and experience in order to help you get the most out of what a hitter has and, using what they already have, mold them into a more constant hitter (versus changing everything that the hitter already does).
