Hi Everyone

It's been awhile since I updated so I felt like it was time. I would like to thank everyone who emailed me their questions, I thought they all were good and enjoyed reading them.

Well it's been about 2 weeks and a lot has happened since the all-star break. About 12 games have gone by, so it's been pretty busy. We are sitting at .500 right now and are making progress, trying to get on a roll and get some wins.

We just got back from Kane County tonight where we played two games and dropped both of them. One was pretty lopsided and the other was a a very good game that just didn't go our way in the end. It's funny how baseball works, one day you get the game that is just so in favor of one team it isn't even funny, then the next time you play a extra inning game.

That's why baseball is so fun because you never know what is gonna happen next. From week to week or inning to inning the game can completely change in your favor or hit you square in the jaw. I just love it, good or bad.

Anyway, from a personal standpoint things are going well right now. I picked up another win which puts me at 6 on the season. I've thrown well lately and feel very confident. If I can keep it up and finish the season on a positive note, I'm sure the team is also gonna finish on a good note and grab one of those playoff spots.

Team wise we have also seen alot of moves lately, with several guys heading to higher levels and several new players coming in from the draft and lower levels. This is also another great reason to be playing baseball, you get to meet so many new people from all over the country and even the World. I always like talking to people I've never met to find out their story and see where they have been. Everybody is interesting and their journey is always unique.

Well that's about all for now, I'm gonna answer some of the email questions in my next journal so write and I'll try to answer back. Happy late 4th of July. See Y'all!

Walt
