Miami Heat 1999 Home Jersey - Alonzo Mourning
Mitchell & Ness In the 1992 NBA Draft, the Charlotte Hornets took Georgetown standout Alonzo Mourning as the second overall pick. After playing three seasons in Charlotte, Mourning was traded to the Miami Heat for the start of the 1995 season. During the 1998-1999 season, Mourning earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. Currently Mourning continues to be a key contributor to the Miami Heat, as he helped them reach the 2004-2005 NBA Eastern Conference Finals against the Detroit Pistons.
