Three weeks in and still going strong. We have been playing games for the past couple weeks which has made the days longer. As a pitcher these days can drag on if you don’t have to throw. When we don’t throw we have to do charts, get foul balls, be bat boy, do camera or a number of other things.

Since there are a lot of guys in camp that have to throw you don’t get a whole lot of innings so you need to make them count. I’ve thrown five innings and done alright. I still have some things to work on and I just remind myself its still early in the season.

We just had cuts the other day which was tough to see some guys that I have become pretty good friends with leave. But that is part of the game and I have to accept that someday down the road it could happen to me.

It's been pretty competitive in camp lately. We have a lot of good arms and not enough spots on teams to put everyone. All I can do is control the controllable factors and hopefully things will fall into place for me.

I'll find out this coming week where I'll be going this summer so I have some nervous excitement going on.

NCAA basketball has been a great time filler these past few days and its been good conversation topic during BP in the outfield. My bracket isn’t going so well but I still got OSU (tough one since they were my biggest rival in college) in it. I'm going to get back and watch some more games. Take care everyone.
